Yes, you can edit on any software. Edits using TikTok and Reels are encouraged, as well as Premiere, Final Cut, Da Vinci, iMovie–anything! 

Yes, it must be a new post. No adding the hashtag to an old video. I want to see your freshest work for this!

Yes, you can edit whatever you want. If you want to make a music video, tell a story, create a montage, or promote a product, you can! Just shows off your unique perspective in your edit.

Yes, you must post the video and use the hashtag #EditingFormulaContest and tag @jordan_orme to be entered. This is how I see your posts.

Yes, your video must be under 20 seconds long. Videos over 30 seconds long will not be considered for the first or second prize.

Yes, your video must be an original edit. You can use other people’s clips if you like, but you can’t steal someone else’s edit. That’s just not cool. 

Yes, everyone who enters will receive a $50 discount code for The Editing Formula. We’re all winners here!

Yes, you can submit more than one entry. However, only your first entry will be considered for the first or second prize.
